How It Works
The image is loaded into an HTML Canvas element. When you click, getImageData extracts the RGBA values of the pixel at that coordinate. The color is then converted to HEX and HSL for copying.
The magnifier window follows your cursor and shows a zoomed-in view of the surrounding pixels, making it easy to target specific areas even in complex images.
Tips
- Zoom into your browser (Ctrl+) to make the canvas larger for small images.
- For bulk extraction, try Palette from Image — it automatically finds dominant colors.
- Everything runs in your browser. No image data is uploaded anywhere.
